Why Apple should buy Skype

Makes perfect sense.

Apple has $50 billion in cash. Skype is valued at around $3 billion.

They can afford it.

Here’s a few reasons why that would be a good idea:

* Further leverage against the operators
* Key selling point to sell even more iphones and macs with Facetime
* Stable position in the social space – succeed where both Microsoft and Google failed.
* Skype needs a better business model. Selling hardware is a good business model.
